The next morning, we awoke pretty early so had a walkabout around the roadhouse, then popped inside for a feed and then for a drive around to see the place again.

The pub looks different in the daylight, but we had a game of pool before having a morning feed.

And here is where it all started twenty years ago right at the petrol pumps, as I was filling up a car when a truck drove right up to the pumps. I had a gander as this good looking sheila jumped down out of the passenger side, and I said G'day as she headed passed me into the roadhouse. I flowered her into the roadhouse and watched as she walked into the back area, now I'm thinking she might be a bloody thief and so I flowered her into the back fridge where she helped herself to one of our dishes for food. It's then she mentioned about Shane and Lindy, (The roadhouse managers) so I knew then that she was okay to be back there. I thought this english lass was a goodlooking sheila but I never thought that after a few weeks I'd be spending the rest of my life with her.... Crikey.

In the old days Tania use to look after the motel rooms doing all the cleaning, washing and other stuff like laundry, whereas yours truly worked in the roadhouse pumping fuel and other stuff inside.

We didn't have a little Gnomeville but I do like what thay have done, next time we'll have to drop off a little gnome ourselves.

Crikey!

The Telstra telecommunication tower near Caiguna roadhouse let's be honest Caiguna doesn't really have to many tourist attractions, that's if you'd call this one.

Tania did work out at Caiguna a year before I got their and she got up to some sketchy shit without me around, like climbing this bloody tower. Fairdinkum Tania and some friends climbed it for some fun, well when you're living in a desert then this sort of stuff just comes naturally.

We thought about it for a while but then realisation clicked in and thought better of it, well I don't think the body would like that much of a climb and the thought of falling to my death also played a part.

But after going on a walkabout out to the airstrip and wondering around the roadhouse we set off back from where we came, well at least the 379 kms back to Norseman then turn down towards Esperance.

Unfortunately, as we reached Esperance, the seaweed was everywhere, and with it was its smell. After finding that the local brewery I wanted to visit was shut for two days... Bugger! So, we decided to drive onwards towards Albany, but it was getting late, so we found a place to stay for the night. And could you find anything better than a pub for the night? So, we pulled into the Ravensthorpe Palace Hotel... Beauty.

So, after getting our stuff inside the room we hit the bar for a few drinks and a nice feed to settle the tummy, oh and Tania's eyes lit up once she saw that it had a TAB!

The misses went for the chicken Thai curry which actually looked bloody nice.

But I couldn't help myself and I went for my goto feed, the chicken Parmi as I know outback towns always give you a good amount. And fairdinkum I wasn't wrong on that call as this bugger was hugh and it went down quicker than a bride's nighty! Bloody beautiful.

So, after a few beaut beers and some Jim beams and one ripper bloody good feed we headed out front for our minatory pub photo, then we headed to our room for a well-earned rest.
