After leaving the Palace Hotel in Ravensthorpe we drove along the South coast highway until we hit the turn off to Bremer Bay, here's Tania standing on John cove beach, but it was just a bit nippy to go for a swim.
I've never been to the little seaside township, so I was never going to let this opportunity go passed, so we drove right down to John Cove beach (that's the photo up top). After having a nice walk along the beach, we drove back along the road up to the Bremer Bay Brewery for some more tourist doing stuff!

Their beers have a coastal vibe, featuring options like Sneaky Seagull Golden Ale and Slippery Octopus, a Summer Pale Ale. There's also a Squirting Squid, a Dark Porter ale, which I believe they can keep for themselves, but I personally enjoyed a Crazy Crab which was a creamy Ale and at 5.2% was just my ally.

The brewery is decorated with a theme inspired by the ocean, its creatures, surfing, and fishing, and as you can see it works a treat.

As you can see thay took their ocean and fishing theme into the beer garden Aswell, and fairdinkum I reckon I'll be back here in the future. I loved the beer and the place just felt like a nice brewery, and as you walk back down the hill towards the Devil creek you come to another pub.

Yes, the Bremer Bay pub just before you head down to the river so there's at least two drinking holes in town, so I'm sure there's other things to do in this seaside village but at least I can think of two things... Oh and the beach.

So, from there we drove the rest of the way to another seaside village, Albany, and after booking into a really nice room at the Albany Motel & Apartments. We had a walkabout around Albany and surprise; surprise we found a ripper pub on the main street.

So, as the misses went up to have a gander at a clothes shop yours truly walked inside the Premier Hotel, to wet the throat with a ripper creamy Kilkenny pint.

And as you can see Tania went and brought herself a nice wedding Anniversary gift, now if she had waited, I'm sure I would have gotten her something just as beaut. But it looks like I don't have to worry now... bugger.

So, after a nice cold, creamy pint, we thought, why not sink another? We were told about another little pub just up the road, so after a short walk, we came to The Earl of Spencer Historic Inn. And just as we walked in it came down cats and dogs so our good luck with the weather had come to an end, basically it rained on and off for the next two days.

It's a little ripper pub up on the hillside and if you sit on the small veranda, you can see most of the township, but as it was raining, we settled into a corner near the fire and started sinking a nice creamy Guiness pint.

Trust me life doesn't get much better just sitting back enjoying my two favourites in a pub.

After getting changed we headed back down the street to have some nice cold pints in the Wilson Brewery, and trust me this pub has the best beers that I have ever drank.

It has a nice long bar but as you can see there wasn't that many people out on a wet night, but to be honest there was at least thirty people walking around inside so that's not a bad bunch for a shitty wet night.

The front room had a bloke singing songs and as the beers hit the spot we started singing along too. I think I mentioned before, but I have to say it again, I reckon Wilsons do the best beer in Australia! Fairdinkum I love all their beers. So, if you're walking about in Albany do yourself a favour and pop in and sink a few different berws and see if I'm telling the truth.

And seeing a clear pool table calling out our names we knew where we were going to hang out, and just across was the bloke singing so we did have a top spot. Can't remember who won at pool so the beers must of Hiten the spot.

But the tummy was starting to rumble, and just next door was another little bar that just so happens to double as a restaurant, the SixDegrees bar so after a very short walk we were next door to Wilson's for a beaut feed.

What a ripper beer garden but unfortunately it was still raining so we stayed indoors for our feed, but I can really see yours truly sinking some nice cold beers in there on a warm summer's night.

Sinking a nice cold Rough Seas pale ale with a percentage of 5. something, before sinking the teeth into a beaut feed. We ended up spending the rest of the night here eating and drinking, life's pretty hard hay, and yes it kept raining for the rest of the night. Then back to our ripper room for a hard-earned good night's sleep.
